Ha Makuya Village is located some 55KM outside Thohoyandou in the Vhembe District of the Limpopo Province. Some of the notable economic activities found in the village is the exxaro coal mine known as Tshikondeni and the Makuya Nature Reserve which shares the border with the Kruger National Park.
